An essay is, generally, a piece of writing that gives the author''''s own argument — but the definition is vague, overlapping with those of an article , a pamphlet , and a short story. Essays have traditionally been sub-classified as formal and informal. Formal essays are characterized by "serious purpose, dignity, logical organization, length," whereas the informal essay is characterized by "the personal element (self-revelation, individual tastes and experiences, confidential manner), humor, graceful style, rambling structure, unconventionality or novelty of theme," etc. [1]

The concept of an "essay" has been extended to other mediums beyond writing. A film essay is a movie that often incorporates documentary filmmaking styles and focuses more on the evolution of a theme or idea. A photographic essay covers a topic with a linked series of photographs that may have accompanying text or captions.

Goals af. Imma write that down under the paragraph How to be spicy in 3 steps

You're question is kind of vague, so I'll offer what I know about writing essays. Start simplistic -- a great 5 paragraph, simple/ small sentence essay is better than a mediocre, wordy essay Give yourself plenty of time if this is a paper for school. Try to start it at least 3 days ahead of the due date or at the very least enough hours where you can write, take a break, then come back to it with fresh eyes Learn and use the Writing Process. 1. Read and Think: make sure you understand the question, what needs to be addressed, and what (if any) research needs to be done. 2. Pre-write: make a list, a graphic organizer, an outline of what you're going to do. 3. Write your essay: hit your pre-writing points and don't obsess over the details like spelling or finding precisely the right word. 4. Revise: This is where you make it better -- add information or subtract information to clarify what you're wanting to say. Make sure all paragraphs are easy to read and only contain one main idea. 5. Edit: This is where you look for misspelled words (don't just use spell check -- use an actual dictionary); check grammar (an old trick is to read the essay from the bottom up, this way you're forced to look at individual sentences); use a thesaurus -- replace any simple, repetitive, or boring vocabulary with better word choice. 6. Make your final draft and relax. :)

When you"ve been too distracted to read the Word then finally get to it 3 verses in you"ve already written 3 paragraph in your journal.
