Your videos aren"t bizarre, only the topics that you bring to light

Social psychology is such a broad topic, there s so much you could explore. Personaly, I have an interest in obesity related issues which is definitely something that can be explored through a social psychology perspective. On one side of the issue you can ask the question, does the prevelence of shows and intervention programs such as the Biggest Loser reflect a form of discrimination or forcing of ideals or a lifestyle on people. Is it the minority being forced to live by the standards of the majority, considering that 2/3 of the population is either overweight or obese. Or, is something like living at an unhealthy weight acceptable because enough people do or how does society draw the line between what is acceptable and what isn t. Another issue, is it a socially acceptable practice to remove an obese child from their home, what does either answer to this question reveal about people s views on the importance of family in a child s development? Does the fact that many people disregard the nutrition facts mandatorily provided by fast food restaurants indicate disinterest in health or a prioritization of finance and convenience over health? These are just a few examples, go to http://www.socialpsychology.org/social.htm , to get an idea of how broad a subject social psychology is. Choose something that interests you or is related to what you study as a business student and think of trends, circumstances, or anything that you can wonder why it is the way it is and formulate questions. This is a great class for you to take as a business student, good luck.
